At Fuchs Financial, we take pride in supporting our community beyond financial services. Our Tax Advisor and Staff Accountant, Jeff Singer, truly embodies that commitment. For more than 30 years, Jeff has dedicated his time and expertise to helping local families and organizations thrive through his generous spirit and passion for giving back.
Over the years, Jeff has been involved in five to seven different charities, but two stand out as his main passions: Friends of Feeney and the FJMC (Federation of Jewish Men’s Club). Through both organizations, Jeff has dedicated countless hours to fundraising, event planning, and community outreach, all while encouraging others to get involved and give back.
Friends of Feeney: Supporting Families Through Hardship
As the tax advisor for Friends of Feeney, Jeff plays a key role in helping the nonprofit grow its impact year after year. Founded by local educator Eric Feeney, the organization raises about $100,000 annually to help children and families who have experienced tragedy or hardship. Their work includes providing scholarships, hosting holiday fundraisers, and organizing community events to bring people together in support of those who need it most.
“Friends of Feeney is all about helping local people and seeing real changes happen right here in our neighborhoods,” Jeff says. “It’s measurable, direct, and impactful. That’s what makes it special.”

One of the organization’s biggest successes this year was the 4th Annual Friends of Feeney Golf Tournament, proudly sponsored by Fuchs Financial. The event, held on September 13, 2025, at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, CT, raised more than $34,000, the largest fundraising total in the organization’s history.
FJMC: Building Friendship, Mentorship, and Community
In addition to his work with Friends of Feeney, Jeff has been an active member of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC) since 2015, where he currently serves as Executive Vice President.
FJMC focuses on creating strong bonds of friendship, Judaism, mentorship, and community, helping men deepen their connection to faith and service. Jeff’s leadership and involvement have been key in supporting the group’s grantmaking and community initiatives over the years.

One of the most meaningful events Jeff participates in each year is the Tour de Shuls CT, a charity bike ride held to support Jewish children with physical and cognitive disabilities. This year’s event takes place on October 5, 2025, featuring multiple bike routes and a run/walk course. The proceeds help fund scholarships for campers attending Camp Ramah and Camp Eisner, which provide specialized programs that allow every child to experience the joy of summer camp, swimming, sports, arts & crafts, singing, and celebration.
A Lifelong Commitment to Giving Back
For Jeff, volunteering isn’t a one-time effort; it’s a lifelong mission. Having started his community involvement in his early twenties, he has seen firsthand how consistent giving builds stronger, more supportive communities. Jeff’s message is simple but powerful:
“Just give back.”
His dedication continues to inspire everyone at Fuchs Financial, reminding us that true success isn’t only about financial achievement; it’s about compassion, connection, and making a lasting difference.
